Though some image-editing tools provide a few options for virtually framing your digital photos, IdFramer takes the concept to a whole new level. The logically arranged interface isn't likely to befuddle most users, and the large preview window lets you see every detail of your new image. IdFramer provides you with many user-adjustable templates for framing your image. If you're not a fan of the included ones or you have a creative streak, you can make your own by selecting frame style, color, size, and texture. Folks who want to get extra fancy can layer several custom frames for a truly unique look, and the ability to frame shots in bulk is a welcome addition. Beyond its framing talents, the application can add captions and perform simple edits, such as rotation, resizing, and red-eye removal. Digital photographers with a sense of style will have fun fooling around with IdFramer.

IdFramer is a tool that adds frames to photos. Use one of the more than 100 predefined frames or design your own using shapes, textures, masks, transparency, effects, smart colored frames, and drop shadows. The built-in batch processor allows applying a frame to series with a single click. IdFramer enables you to remove red-eye or rotate your photos over any angle. You also can add text captions and position them anywhere within the photo and watermarked them. Another feature is the ability to add frames to your images by using one of 25 available image effects. This way you will be able to create blurry or colorized frames. Once you've framed your images, you can save, e-mail, batch, or print them straight from the application.

Version 2.1 introduces a new application interface such that the left navigation bar is replaced with a more modern version, the lower "last used" bar is now sizable and offers improved samples and navigation options, the preview windows allows you to click the image to change the background color of the window with different shades of gray, and this new version adds frame bookmarking option that allows you to add frames to your favorites.
