From Hyperionics Technology:HyperCam captures the action and sound from any part of Windows desktop and saves it to standard AVI movie files. Captures cursor movements, menus selections, windows popping up and everything else you see on the screen. Correctly handles color palette changes if recording in 256 color mode. Allows you to pan the recorded area around the screen. Optionally annotates recorded movies with text. Version 2.10.02 updated to capture correct cursor over command prompt ("MS-DOS") windows on Windows 2000, XP and higher.

"Great overall ease and performance..."
Pros: There is no dought it has to be the best cam recorder ever made including audio recording and much move it is "the best" thing ever.
Cons: the stupid unregistered hypercam 2 symbol in the top left corner is there if you dont purchase it.

"Quite good but i'd need more frame per second."
Pros: This worked fine for me so far. I was able to record in-game things with more codec types, including Radius and the codec from Microsoft, the WMV9. After some minutes i found it quite easy to configure the settings (some were up to used codecs) and capture my work.
At the forum i got fast answer (within 24h), good point.
Their online faq can answer most of my questions.
The setup/uninstall is ok. Buying the license is easy and right now you can get their other product cheaper.
I found no spyware and while it's unregistered, why they should remove that unregistered text?
Cons: Even if i've installed the Windows Media 9 encoder, it said it's not installed. Weird.
Like at HyperSnap, Irfanview, etc. I'd imageing a much better GUI design, it's a bit like in 9xs.
I read at help that recording fps it's up to the system but i wonder why 2,6GHz with 1GB ram and 9700 128MB vram can only record with 5.
There should be a test button to test out settings before i go on with recording. Fe. if you're playing an online game and it'll only tell you that the fps setting isn't ok when you press the f3 (and jumps out to windows), you may find it difficult to restart a battle. This takes time.
I'd attach some icons to modify system display settings (fe. external icons, etc.), like resolution, color tone, etc.

"Worth downloading adware and spyware free very usefull product"
Pros: i like alot of things about this i use the free verison and this has the waterwark logo at the top but its alright with me. i found no spyware or adware its safe to download. Its very easy to use and its worth downloading i can copy clips from youtube really any video site unless its windows media player files cause that never works. It does work on video sites who do you flash e.g. flv files. This records sound aswell. Download this and check it out. 5 stars cause its safe, easy to use, usefull
Cons: Only thing i dont like i cant copy windows media player files.

"fantastic for making tutors similar to CBT nuggets!"
Pros: The best thing is, u get a no nonsense small product that captures your desktop, and takes excellent sound input to make a nice video for training purposes, demo etc..
very good if you want to make quick videos for any product usage.. also, it has pan ability and feature to add notes..
comparing to "Macromedia Captivate" this product serves your purpose. most people end up at macromedia captivate at first. to make some good video guides, but i feel this product is just fantastic, and better. did not crash on a lengthy recording like captivate.. u can pause too in between to add notes / snippets etc.
Cons: -> requires good RAM (256) min recommended.
