Version: Helium Music Manager 2005 build 4583
"The most complete music manager so far"
Pros: Very complete, has all functions you ever will need.
The interface is good and I really like the possibility to customize it introduced in one of the newer versions.
The Music Information Browser is a superb tool which helps me finding much more valuable information from my favourite artists and albums.
Cons: It took me a while to learn the application, but it was worth it.

Pros: Very good tagging and renaming features. Good searching capabilities and statistics.
Tons of functions! There is nearly nothing you'll miss.
Cons: Sometimes not easy to find out how a specific action is pictured in the program. Once you find it out, its very good.

Version: Helium Music Manager 2005 build 4583
Pros: Finally, a music manager with an explorer style folder view, and that - unlike iTunes - doesn't automatically assume the user will want to give up using folders to catalog music.
Cons: It's slow: if I rate a file while it's playing, it will take a second to update the database, during which the music will be interrupted. It takes a few seconds each time I launch it to scan my music folder.

Pros: The application looks sophisticated but it's not.
Cons: Helium is confusing, complicated and slow. The self-help wizard explains nothing. This program screwed up my entire library.
