From SoftLogica :Handy Recovery is data-recovery software designed to restore files deleted due to virus attacks, software faults, power failures, or disk formatting. The program supports FAT 12/16/32, NTFS, and NTFS 5 file systems. It shows the probability of successful recovery for each file. This tool can recover files from deleted and formatted partitions or create disk images for deferred recovery.

Pros: Good interface, fast searching and recovery of files. I bought it now!

remove it NOTE!!! 1 file day!!!!

Version: Handy Recovery 2.0
Pros: Does NOT charge a per-GB fee like some rip-off software!
Took a little fumbling to figure out interface but pretty straight forward.
This is the 9th data-recovery program I have tried. I did buy it, but before I found out the bad part....
Cons: Only found half of the data. I had a drive with two partitions that had been re-initialized. This program only found one of the partitions. It DID recover that partition very nicely. But I am probably going to have to buy GetBackData to get the rest.

Pros: this software works great! you can easily and rapidly recover files from hard drives, floppies, even sony memory sticks!
Cons: takes some time scanning the drives, but it's worth it

Pros: The program accurately shows the type and name of the deleted/lost file and the probability of recovery. Nice, simple, easy to use interface. The demo version is good for 30 days and will allow you to save any type or size of file.
Cons: Be warned: you can only save 1 file per day during the 30 day trial.
