This PC-monitoring software stands out in a few respects in spite of its narrow scope. The appealing, tabbed interface makes configuring the program and viewing reports a painless process. In terms of versatility, Handy Keylogger offers fewer features than its competitors. It records keystrokes and open windows, captures screenshots, and tracks the clipboard but only works with Internet Explorer and can't block program use or objectionable Web sites. However, the program somewhat compensates for its limited feature set by giving you well-organized, easy-to-read reports that can be sent via e-mail. You can automatically clear old logs to reduce disk clutter. We didn't manage to find the program via the Task Manager, but it's nice that you can protect it with a password for additional security. Handy Keylogger is best suited to home users and parents who want to monitor their children's computer use.
