From GreenPrint Technologies :

GreenPrint World is a free version of GreenPrint software for home users worldwide. GreenPrint solves a problem nearly every computer user has experienced: The wasteful pages that you didn't intend to print that immediately go in the recycling bin (for example, pages with just a URL, banner ad, legal jargon, or other content you don't need). GreenPrint does this by analyzing the document and then highlighting and removing unnecessary pages. It also makes it easy for the user to then remove any additional unwanted pages. GreenPrint incorporates an easy to use PDF writer to provide an alternative to printing, image removal functionality, and a reporting feature, which keeps track of the number of pages, trees, and money saved.

Version 2.0.2 contains additional bug fixes.

Version: GreenPrint Report 2.0.2

"Does not work with all printing jobs"

Pros: Lets you see what you are going to print a little better than print preview and lets you delete unwanted items before printing.

Cons: Will hang up on some print jobs. Does not crash your system just will not print and you must change printer to the real printer.

Summary: I keep it on and use it when I can. It has saved on printing, yet not enough to justify a full commitment to it's usage as it will not work all the time, about 30 per cent of the time.
