  Does NOT convert between all the video formats listed.....

  Summary

  Accurate info would help people looking for software.
  Please don't waste our time!

  "Awesome converters, easy to use and free"

  Version: Green Free Video Converter 1.1

  Pros

  1. It is Free, really, No limitation. No pro or paid version. Many other so-called 'free' video converters have limitations on converting time, number of converting files, etc. This software is the only one I found that does not have limitations on video converting. With it, No need to cost $50 to buy a converter any more!
  
  2. It works! Perfect to convert video files from FLVs to AVIs or WMA or whatever. Solid design and performance. Easy to begin.
  
  3. Its video converting toolbar can be opt out. There is a check box during software installation, if you don't check it, the toolbar will not be installed. I have tested. Considering it is complete Free of charge, I think this is acceptable.

  Cons

  I use it and think it is good.

  "this software is spam"

  Pros

  I could not even try it as it does not convert SWF files

  Cons

  I hate this software. I triple checked that I unchecked the by default checked "install Sweet IM and Install Sweet IM Toolbar"! It still installed both on my win7 SP1.

  "Do not install"

  I have no pro's to list.

  Cons

  Possible malware
  Can't convert from wmv to mpeg
  Lousy interface

  Summary

  I too encountered possible malware issues. On the install itself, it defaults to installing additional 3rd party presumably adware-esque crap. You have to select custom install to avoid installing it.
  
  After the installation was complete, I selected the close installer and launch program option. Immediately afterward, the application launched. Also launching was some other exe with the word installer in the title, something like BetterInstaller. I know this because Private Firewall, my firewall which won't let anything run w/o my permission, popped up and asked for permission. I terminated the process without investigating further. Green Video Converter opened up fine, so presumably this second exe that was launched had nothing to do with Green Video Converter.
  
  I had no similar issues upon subsequent invocations of Green Video Converter,
  
  I installed the product to convert wmv to mpeg. Both formats are listed in the publishers description. However, after launching the app, I couldn't find a way to convert to mpeg. It might be the case that it support converting from mpeg but not to mpeg. Check it out for yourself in the screen shot. Check out the profile box and notice that mpeg is not there.
  
  Also, the interface is substandard. On my screen, the bottom of the window cuts off the bottom controls, and there is no way to scroll down to get to the bottom. Additionally, the application window doesn't resize. The profile panel, which only shows one row of buttons, can't be enlarged. It literally is a list box with only one row of buttons showing.
