Expand your empire across a series of stars and planets as three computer opponents with distinct personalities compete with you for the same regions of space.Planetary installations and spacecraft participate in a closed economic system geared toward expansion into space. As leader, guide your empire via your actions. No micromanagement of units is required.Each sector of space is composed of a number of stars. Planets orbit their stars in real time, and stars and planets exert gravity upon your ship: respond to changing gravitational conditions as you navigate through space and land on planets.Ship controls are similar to those in the classic arcade hit, Asteroids, with some notable exceptions. Your view into space smoothly pans as you approach the edges of your screen. Viewing scale can be easily adjusted to provide wide panoramic views for interplanetary navigation and close-up detailed views for combat and tricky landings.The shareware version of Gravity Well ends when one of the opponents is defeated. All product features are enabled.
