This extension creates a button to the menu bar which notifies when a Google Reader feed has a new item. When logging in to Google Reader, make sure to enable the "Stay logged in"-feature. The program includes an option to always use SSL-connection (HTTPS) and to hide unread count.

What's new in this version: Version 1.3 has new icon sets and item parsing redone with JSON.
