"Easy to use + comprehensive photo management/uploading"
Pros: It's intuitive and easy to use and I especially like the feature that allows the user to automatically resize the images while uploading to a web album, great for sharing 100's of photos with friends and family!
Cons: I'd like more control over which photos are included during a search and over duplicate images.
Summary: It FREE and very useful if you have a large collection of photos you want to organise and share as well as offering some basic editing options. The functionality of web album uploads is also very good. Incidentally, web albums can be accessed from w... read more >>

Version: Google Picasa 3.0.1
"Good Product. Different colour from iphoto."
Pros: All the good features are there.
Cons: Picture from Picasa and iPhoto looks different.
Summary: When I import my photographs from iPhoto, the same picture on Picasa look 'diluted' and pale when compared to those on iPhoto. Something is not right. How could a same picture file looks different on a same machine using different software.

Pros: I like that it searches and links to existing pictures, but...
Cons: the links are still erroneous, so it's not yet of much use.
Summary: I didn't dare try any of the features for fear that my pictures would be "damaged." (Of course I didn't take the time to do a backup before I tried it <g>) The first thing that has to be is a correct link to the picture(s) - and some decent he... read more >>
