Version: GoToMyPC 5.0
"Same general idea as RealVNC, but easier to setup and use."
Pros: Its a required tool in today's business world.
It is web-based. RealVNC and the sort are standalone programs.
Requires no extra setup outside of installation of the program. RealVNC and the sort require port opening/forwarding if the user is behind a firewall or router. GotoMyPC doesn't require this since the traffic is through the web. WebEx is the same way.
Cons: Its not free.
Its quite expensive.
Requires you to purchase more than one license if you desire to install this on more than one computer.
Their TV advertising campaign is quite annoying.

Version: GoToMyPC 5.0
Pros: Generally I say perfection is just a myth, but this proved me wrong. It was easy to set up, register and use. If you have multiple PCs you should definitely get GoToMyPC. I'm not sure how I came accross it, but I'm glad I did. Its just like you're sitting in front of your home PC, but you're at an internet cafe.

Version: GoToMyPC 5.0
"too expensive compared to similar programs"
Pros: nothing
Cons: $20 a month! You have got to be kidding! For a few dollars more you can buy the industry leading pcAnywhere and use it forever, or if you know what you're doing you can download VNC and use it FOR FREE.

Version: GoToMyPC 5.0
"best of all the remote access products"
Pros: I've tried logmein, it was so slow I had to uninstall it.
GoToMyPC has never failed me. I literally use it every day, and it's great when you're traveling. I've even logged on to my PC from a Mac. It's the best remote access product I've found, and I would not be able to work without it.
Cons: it's expensive, but it's worth it. Also, I've seen that you can buy an annual plan at a discount, I think that's my next move.
