Unlike many similar programs, this free toolbar offers reliable pop-up protection, along with a couple of other handy features. In our tests the program did a fine job of quashing most pop-ups, banners, and Flash ads we threw its way. You can allow pop-ups with a quick keystroke or by adding from certain sites to the whitelist. In addition, the toolbar can stop instant-messaging pop-ups, disable background sounds on Web pages, and detect and remove spyware. We found GoGoData's adware-blocking skills a mixed bag. It did let several malicious programs run, but it blocked them from sneaking into the start-up menu, so our PC was clean after reboot. As a search portal, this program is fairly capable, as it trolls popular engines, such as Yahoo and Google, for results. You also get a secure password manager that can automatically fill Web login forms, as well as a tool that refreshes pages at user-specified intervals. The ability to quickly access stock quotes, your five favorite news sites, and weather rounds out this application's feature set. All things considered, this free and capable toolbar makes a quality pick for people who want to surf the Web ad-free.Publisher's description

Pros: NONE!
Cons: I went to their site at toolbar.gogodata.com/contactus.php and the makers say they are no longer updating and making any bug fixes on this toolbar so if you have problems with it then good luck.

Important note: The GoGoData Toolbar, free version, is now dead....we have worked over 1 year on this project, and have lost a considerable amount of time and money making this toolbar (Free to the user does not mean it was free to make). Therefore, since there is no motivation to continue working and losing further money, we are no longer supporting or continuing to improve the free toolbar.
There are some bugs in the current version that we are aware of...these will not be fixed. If you have any support issues, please simply uninstall the toolbar (Start button -> Control Panel -> Add/Remove Software).
We are working on a standalone product for commercial sale that will offer enhanced versions of the autofill, password manager and fastpasss functionality, basically expanding upon some of the key features found in the free toolbar. These will be packaged in a smaller toolbar - however, this will be for sale and not offered for free.

Pros: Blocked ads effectively, reduced if not completely stopped
Good toolbar, and free too
Cons: Speed increase not really noticeable...
Leaves icon in taskbar, which I don't like...

"popup blocker was nice tough"
Pros: Worked well with some adware components
Cons: Spyware tests showed an inability to sop 5/10 programs when tested on my lab pc.

Pros: I has some features that is rare in most toolbars such as ad-blocker and anti-ad/spyware protection.
Cons: I couldn't access the ad blocker menu. It said a reboot should fix it. I did that and still didn't work.
