Unlike many similar programs, this free toolbar offers reliable pop-up protection, along with a couple of other handy features. In our tests the program did a fine job of quashing most pop-ups, banners, and Flash ads we threw its way. You can allow pop-ups with a quick keystroke or by adding from certain sites to the whitelist. In addition, the toolbar can stop instant-messaging pop-ups, disable background sounds on Web pages, and detect and remove spyware. We found GoGoData's adware-blocking skills a mixed bag. It did let several malicious programs run, but it blocked them from sneaking into the start-up menu, so our PC was clean after reboot. As a search portal, this program is fairly capable, as it trolls popular engines, such as Yahoo and Google, for results. You also get a secure password manager that can automatically fill Web login forms, as well as a tool that refreshes pages at user-specified intervals. The ability to quickly access stock quotes, your five favorite news sites, and weather rounds out this application's feature set. All things considered, this free and capable toolbar makes a quality pick for people who want to surf the Web ad-free.

This is an amazing and great toolbar to have. It not only blocks adware pop ups, but also the script errors I was getting from Juno.
Cons
The only dislike about it is that it doesn't like it when you try to download anything. So you have to exit the whole program, do the download, then open it up again. But it's a small price to pay for all the good that it does.

Once you get it up and running and your settings worked out, this makes browsing fun again. I get a sort of perverse pleasure from hearing the litlle `BOINK` that means another one`s bitten the dust. Very, very good.
Cons
A bit fiddly to get going, but worth the perseverance.
Summary
I`ve had this running four or five days and it`s the only one of many I`ve tried that I`d actually go to the effort of recommending. If you`re sick to death of installing blocker after blocker only to find that they don`t catch everything, then smile - your search is over. Happy browsing...

"I like this product there are a few problems"

The thing I like most about this toolbar is that it saves my frequently used passwords and websites, all I have to do is sign in and everything is there. It was easy to install and easy to maintain.
Cons
There are several reasons I have a problem with this toolbar, error messages on IIE , secondly, there is no web site to access if I am having a problem, third is my passwords are stored with no way to retrieve them.
Summary
Except for a few glitches mentioned above in the con section, I really find this product to function as it is intended. Blocks pop ups too well sometimes, then you need to add the page to options. I have started to use FireFox more and the GoGoData Toolbar is not compatible with Fire Fox, so basically I am using two browsers.

Ive used this pop-up blocker for several years. I needed a pop-up blocker on my new desktop, so I came to CNet to see whats out there. I chose this one, because it still does the best job blocking most pop-ups. Newer ones, no. But, in under 5 minutes, 46 ads have been blocked. Google Toolbar? Does it even block anything? Yahoo Toolbar? Is that even spyware free? I've tried a bunch over the years; keep coming back to this one.
It blocks more ads than any other program I've seen.
The downside is, the company is unfortunately defunct, so no new versions, no updates, and I do not believe it works with Vista. Sad to say.
XP users wanting a program that will block most ads; and more than most, this should do the trick.
Try it; it's free. CNet says its spyware free; and if its not, who cares? Nobody's there to watch anyway. -

It works well to remove ads in IE, and has adequate controls to include or remove sites from the scrub list. You need the toolbar for this functionality.
