Glarysoft's Glary Utilities is one of the most consistently popular and most frequently recommended system utilities, and why not? Glary Utilities displayed its summary findings, and we could click to view details or just press Repair Problems to fix the lot, which we did. The tool swiftly purged our system of the obsolete, unneeded, and junk data that can clog your machine over time, compromising performance and even security.
The 1-Click Maintenance is reason enough to keep Glary Utilities and run it regularly, but more excellent reasons can be found in its Modules, which let you run Glary's utilities individually as well as access many more tools, including a file shredder, startup manager, memory optimizer, registry defragmenter, and file recover and undelete tool. It also lets you run a variety of Windows utilities from Glary's interface, including the Process Manager and System Information. "Registry cleaner forced me to re-format BOTH of my pc's"

With previous versions I could close my eyes, tick everything, then cleanup/delete "unnecessary" files without reservations. NOT NOW!! I actually had to reformat TWO pc's after Glary wiped out critical registry files. Now I'm SCARED of this baby!!

I now rely upon CCleaner...and I DON'T check the Advanced Options. Glary is fine ONLY IF YOU LEAVE THEIR REGISTRY CLEANUP COMPLETELY ALONE. I don't do many reviews, but I felt obliged here...

Summary
Glary Registry Repair found many errors with my system. I opted to "repair all" which was a huge mistake. All the icons on my desktop dissapeared. The start menu was gone as well. Somehow Glary had also messed up my XP System Restore so there was no ability to undo the changes Glary had made. In the end, my entire system had to be re-built from scratch.

Decent registry cleaner, disk cleaner. junk file cleaner. There are free products that do a more through job but how many utilities do you want on your computer taking up space?

The spyware checker should not be counted on as it is weak! Fix this and I would give it four stars.

Don't know how many viruses, trojans, etc it actually finds and corrects. Other programs that are thorough are much slower, so it makes me wonder.

if you are not really a computer wiz..Don't change any settings ,very powerful and can wipe out data you want while optimizing,but if you leave it at recommended settings..no problems whatsoever

I'm just using the free download once a week ,definately recommend anyone try it ,especially if you have registry problems . combined with malware antibytes is formidable setup.
