This powerful application offers extensive utilities to improve your system's performance and protect your privacy. Glary Utilities' well-organized interface allows users to easily choose from several tools. It cleans unwanted junk files and removes invalid and broken shortcuts, freeing up valuable disk space.
Its Registry cleaner allows you to scan, remove, and back up faulty Registry entries. You also can wipe out online and Windows traces, although Internet Explorer is the only browser in which this function is supported. To improve the speed of your computer, Glary Utilities offers tools to manage start-up programs and memory optimization. Privacy-conscious users will certainly appreciate its inclusion of a government-standard file shredder to securely delete data.
Overall, users who are looking for an effective and easy-to-use application to keep their system in tip-top shape should try this one out.

Version: Glary Utilities 2.5
Pros: I've used many utilities such as Ace, TuneUp, and everything else. This program does about everything that any paid program does. It comes with all sorts of cleaners such as shortcut cleaner, registry cleaner, and finds tons of results and errors. I used this program for quite a while, and it hasn't given me any errors or crashed. The best thing about it, is that it's also free!
Cons: None so far.

"Absolutely Fantastic...and i would pay for this software!"
Pros: I found this software whilst browsing a PC Magazine so i thougt i would try it out for size...and wow...i am seriously impressed at the huge amount of optimization settings this programme has. This software is a complete all in one cleaner and i cannot think of anything that this won't do. The programme has a Disk cleaner/ Registry cleaner/ Shortcuts fixer/ Uninstall manager/ start up manager/ memory optimizer/ context menu manager/ tracks eraser/ file shredder/ duplicate file finder/ empty folder finder (very useful as it had found empty folders from over 2 years ago of which i thought i had deleted!) This programme also has a process manager (ideal to keep or delete running processes) and it even has a spyware remover (ideal for basic everyday spyware) This is just a great piece of software and as good (if not better) than some of the paid versions. It's FREE...and it does exactly what it says...and is easy to use. Download..and give your PC a thorough clean up and you will notice the difference in performance.
Cons: My only (and very minor) flaw is that it missed a 'tracking cookie' which 'Superantispyware' caught...although this was very a very minimal and low risk advertising cookie. (maybe i am being too fussy here)

Pros: tons of customization options, great effect on machine(positive ones)

"(read more) I know how to stop it from going to the system tray when you exit"
Pros: Awesome program awesome awesome awesome!
It does so many jobs that it makes your head spin!
Cons: it goes to the system tray when you exit it, but i know how to fix that!
1. open glary utilites
2. click on menu (top right corner)
3. click settings
4. make sure the box next to
(minimize to tray when you close the program window) is not checked
now you can close glary without it saying (glary utilites is still running)!!!!
