From Arainia Solutions :Gizmo Drive is a virtual device simulator which allows you to create password protected hard disk images with its proprietary GDRIVE format. Gizmo Drive also supports a number of standard image formats including: ISO, VHD, BIN, IMG, NRG, CCD, MDS, and MDF. These images can be mounted to any of the 26 virtual devices made available by Gizmo Drive's virtual device driver. When an image is mounted, it appears as an actual hard drive or CD-ROM device in Windows Explorer. These devices can be used to achieve a superior performance increase whenever a CD-ROM disc is extracted to its ISO form and mounted from the hard drive instead. Virtual devices are great for archiving purposes as well, and generally they are good at freeing up desk space by eliminating the need of having discs scattered all over the office.
Version 2.5 introduces some improvements to the mounting support with Microsoft's VHD format and the Windows Vista UAC.

"Thank you for your feedback..."
Pros: The uninstall issue was fixed in v2.5.1. If you are experiencing other problems, post it in our message forum on the support site and we will be happy to resolve any issues in the application. We have found that some Vista virus scanners behave unexpectedly. This has caused problems for some, but unfortunately no one will give us the specifics of their problems. Any constructive feedback is appreciated.

Pros: i didn't think we would find a vhd mounter, let alone one that supports differencing disks, and one that is free
Cons: support for vmware disks would be great too, but we are enjoying the vhd mounting capabilities

"Works great with ISO and BIN files"
Pros: The best thing about this program is that it is easy to use. As soon as I started using the program...the program displayed tooltips, and then just asked me "What do you want to do?" So I cliekd on "mount an ISO image". Boom! Very simple.
The second best thing about this program is that it actually is free. You get all the features up front, and you can turn off features too, if you don't want them loaded up.
Cons: At first I didn't want the toolbar... but I found out that you can turn it off. After using it, I decided turn it back on though, since it lets you remount files pretty easily.

Pros: Nice idea, if it WORKED!
Cons: Had to go into System Registry to completely remove. It stalled everything in Vindows Vista.
