This utility provides an easy way to switch or close currently running tasks. From the GigaBar icons you can launch applications, browse files, and perform a host of common functions. In addition, you can customize it's look and feel with skins and schemes. This program is designed to have an easy install that presents the user with an up-to-date help file on the screen upon its first use. It's configured to resemble the Pocket PC taskbar as much as possible, showing only a Start menu button, the title of the foreground window, and the clock.

Pros: this is an excellent product with much hidden functionality, I have used this program alot, getting things to come up on it is fairly simple tap on the bar and move the stylus in a direction, something will happen, please if you install this and have trouble, try to remember the bar will do something if you tap and move
Cons: configuring it can be stressfull so therefore its definetly not for beginners. the uninstaller does not work correctly unless you install it to main memory so you must manually remove it

"Can't live without it! Period."
Pros: I've used Gigabar on a Axim X5 (Pocket PC 2003) for at least 3 years. Never had any issues with it.
Have since upgraded to the new T-Mobile MDA IV. I've never used the standard Windows Mobile navigation because of Gigabar, so when I started using the new MDA, I was annoyed at having to go to System>>>Stop All Programs. Tried downloading Gigabar from cnet, but was unable to. Tried spbpocketplus as alternative. Found Gigabar from a different site. Installed it with worries that it wouldn't work on my new PDA phone. Fortunately for me, it works with WM5!
I can't live without this app. It's the best out there. I'll gladly pay the developer to keep this project going. It's better than spbpocketplus in my opinion. Sure it doesn't do everything spb does, but it closes my apps with a stroke to the left. Minimizes my apps with stroke to the right. (And keeps them in visability so I can switch to them). I can double click on the top right of my screen and navigate my files. It's embedded in my Pocket PC Usage.
ThumbsUp! PLEASE DON'T DESERT THIS APP!
Cons: Nothing. It has always worked for me. There's a little learning curve, but that's no reason to say it does nothing. It only does nothing if the user does nothing with it.

"Problematic at first. But re-installed"
Summary: First load was corrupted. I did have to do a hard reset, and then reload. Beware, you can't easily "un-install" this program. For me, I lost the Windows flag. So I couldn't get to settings.

"not able to provide any rating"
Cons: because I was not able to load the application from any web site including gigabar.com. The site wa snot accessible for three days.
