it's the best file recovery program. i like its interface and as for me it's very easy to use, i mean that from the first run of the prog you can easily work with it after one hour of using it. and i think that if you don't recover data with it there is no hope to recover lost staff at all.

It's a very good prog. It saved all my data when HD had corrupted. I like its interface and, it wasn't difficult for me to make it recover files from the first time of using it.

It found everything it possibly could on a disk partition that showed as empty on XP and was riddled with bad sectors.... in some cases it found multiple copies, which gave me a better shot at finding a good one. I downloaded the trial version, and when I saw it had found the files I wanted, paid for it and got the key to unlock the copy function instantly. The recovery phase was easy and pretty quick.
Cons
The search phase is slow, but considering it has to scan every single bit on a large disk, I guess it was to be expected. In my case, the search took about 8 hrs on a 70 GB drive running on a P4 1.5 GHz PC. This drive had hundreds of errors, perhaps a cleaner drive would have scanned faster.

Sometimes you have to test something you are not clear about it and then be infected. Clean all the windows and then recover data may be the last solution. And this software will help you get back 90% what you lost.

My (very full) 4gb SD card suddenly 'lost' everything, said it needed formatting, and became useless. All my work, backups and databases were gone. I stupidly thought that 'Secure Digital' meant just that! I borrowed 'Ontrack Easy Recovery Pro' ($499) which found nothing. Then I purchased 'GetDataBack FAT' ($80) and not only found every single lost file and folder, but also recovered everything too - all intact and unspoilt. Absolutely thrilled! Easy to use, logical and well priced compared to Ontrack's software. I highly recommend it.
Cons
Takes AGES to search drive - over 4hrs for my 4GB card. However, it did find and recover every single file. It's just difficult to wait that long when you're panicking about your precious data and need answers fast!
