It converts a GEDCOM file created by your PC-based genealogy software into a database that can be displayed by your handheld device using the included GedWise Viewer application. GedWise supports nearly all GEDCOM 5.5 tags, multiple entries of event/attribute tags, multiple notes for each individual, and a note for every data item.
GedWise 5.1 features an 'On This Day' tool that lists primary birth, marriage, and death events that occurred on the current day and month. A search function for finding place names in primary birth, marriage, and death events. Color selection for names on the Individual List Screen.
