Version: GeSWall Freeware 2.5.1
Pros: This is a nice Freeware add-in that helps to support your firewall and virus software. It is easy to set up, and easy to use. The software sits in your taskbar, and uses very little resourses. If you need to change anything it is right there to click on. Overall, it is good backdoor firewall protection.
Cons: I think it still needs works on how much it protects. It does a good enough job as it is, but not a great job. Still, it is Freeware, so if you are not paying for it, it is still a gain to have this software protecting your system.

"Protects from Rootkits, Zero day malware, Viruses, Spywares etc"
Pros: I am using it since almost a year.
It is a wonderful product with a free version available. It is basically a SandBox, not a firewall. U can install it on ur PC in addition to to ur Antivirus, antispyware, Firewall or HIPS.
It basically limits the actions of vectors of infection on ur system like web browsers, e-mail clients, download managers etc. All these vectors are run as isolated( untrusted) and any malware coming from these sources can,t damage the system, can,t change the registry, can,t add itself to windows start up etc. By this way it protects against all zero day attacks, viruses, malware, spyware, adware, trojans and also rootkits. I tried many nasty malware on it and it never failed. Only remnant of an infection that can be left over are some files that are kept isolated from main system and u can delete them easily.
It takes minimal respurces and no slow down of the system.
Best PC security software! A must have for me.
Cons: Like any software there might be some cons but it is still under development so it,s OK. If it gets no conflits on ur system, u will really enjoy it.
