From Gateway 2000 :

This BIOS update fixes problems with the Epson Scanner, IRQ's 5 and 7 are now shareable, corrects the issue of the ESCD file getting corrupted, corrects the issue where the Gateway logo would disappear, added DMI support to allow the BIOS to indicate if a PCI slot is in use or available, corrects issue where DMI always reported cache as enabled, IDE Translation Mode updated so that LBA is not an option if the "IDE Device Configuration" option is set to "User Defined." Includes FLASH Memory Update Utility Release 3.2. BIOS must end with CN0T.
