Gala2 is a batch-processing application for image files, designed to take some of the frustration out of working with large collections of images. The application can batch-resize images across an entire drive or network share (via the UI or the command line), batch-rename images as a series (which can be stored and added to), perform basic file-system functions (copy, move, delete, group rename), generate configurable HTML-based thumbnail pages, perform image slide shows, image-annotatation, and apply effects to images in batches. Currently Gala2 supports JPEG, BMP, DIB, PBM, PGM, PCX, PNG, PPM, WPG, TGA, and TIFF (uncompressed) file types.

"Excellent application"

Pros: Quickly and easily resize thousands of image files with virtually no effort. I love the summary pages that tell you exactly what was done to each image - this is extremely important in my work. This program saves me hours of work.

"Extremely useful little app for anyone who works with image files"

Pros: * Does everything that you could want to do with a collection of image files...

Cons: * Except allow you to edit images individually within its viewer...
