GPilotS allows your PalmPilot to talk to your Garmin GPS (see supported models) to send and receive waypoints, routes and tracks talk to map softwares to exchange waypoints, routes and tracks with them create and edit waypoints and routes converts formats of waypoints, routes and tracks dynamically.

Features:

Waypoint creation/edition : you can create new waypoints with their lat/lon, distance/bearing from a reference point and modify name, coordinates, comments, symbol, display attributes,...

Display symbols support : GPilotS supports the waypoint symbols of the Garmin GPS 12, 48, II+

Datum conversion : you may select among 100+ datums to display or enter waypoints coordinates

Storage : waypoints, routes and tracks are stored efficiently in three databases and displayed sorted by categories

Routes : creation, edition, storage and display of routes contents

Tracks : stores and graphically displays tracks

Communication : fast and light asynchronous communication library with support of both gps and host mode. Connected to a GPS the PalmPilot is a host and, connected to a PC, GPilotS emulates a selectable GPS.

Upload, download : you select which categories to send to GPS or receive into local databases
