This image editor earns kudos for its impressive feature set. Before it launches, FxFoto offers to scan your PC for images and gives you the option to view a detailed tutorial. When we first saw the cluttered interface, we were wary, but we figured out how to perform all the actions in no time.
FxFoto has just about every image-editing tool most folks will need. You can automatically or manually improve shots, remove red-eye and blemishes, apply a number of effects, add frames and borders, correct colors, and alter white balance. FxFoto supplies a standard set of drawing tools and lets you add captions to any of your shots. The handy zoom tool provides a great deal of control over magnification. Once you've tweaked pictures to your liking, you can create a slide show with transitions, though you can't add your own music or narration unless you upgrade to the pay version.
You also can design a photo collage and share it via e-mail, burn it to CD, or upload it to one of several sharing sites. Best of all, FxFoto is free, making it a fine tool for lightweight image-editing tasks.

From Triscape :Triscape FxFoto provides a single tool for automatically organizing, enhancing, annotating, e-mailing, printing, uploading, and archiving your digital photos. An animated navigator frame displays photo thumbnails of all your pictures by topic, and photos can be organized and searched for by user-specified keywords. FxFoto Standard Edition is freeware and includes red-eye correction, lighting and image enhancement, blemish removal, and a clone brush. The Deluxe Edition upgrade also creates animated slide shows, collages and scrapbook pages with advanced creative effects and stitches multiphoto panoramas with the same download.
Version 3.0.054 adds new features, tools, and effects, including a new toolbar look and the ability to try many Deluxe Edition capabilities in the Standard Edition.

"Tons of features, small file, loads quickly"
Pros: Fairly straight forward. Has a ton of the same features that more exspensive programs have, but all crammed in a small space, making it a little confusing at first. Especially like the gamma feature which helps fix that over or under exposed photo. With the white balance control, I gave an indoor family shot a warmer feel, & gave a sunset a more firey color. One special photo had a greenish tint, & now looks like it was meant to look. Also gave a waterfall a bluer tint, & softend a portrait. Can also change the hue to give really kewl effects. The cloning tool works excellent for removing background garbage, or repairing scanned photos that have creases or tears & bightens dull ones. Does 8x10 prints as well as two 4x6/page, 4 to a page ect. You can't save edited or retouched photos without replacing the original file, but only with the free version. Not good. You can restore the original image later however, but at a cost of some image loss. Typical. Best to make a quick copy & renaming your photo prior to importing it for editing. Although I have more advanced photo software, & tried a couple of others I didn't like, but I like this one & will be using it quite often.
Cons: Gets a little difficult to custom size a print, like a 4x5. Uploading to email is difficult, but I don't use the e-mail part anyhow. Can't save edited photos to a new folder in the free version.

"Multi-function picture software program."
Pros: In this small 2.11 mg download, it's hard to imagine that there are lots of functions in this picture software program.
You can collage, upload, print, email, view, import, search, your photos with the convenient buttons located on the upper left.
Users can correct photos, automatically or manually. Brightness, contrast, gamma, color balance controls, "improve image area"
There are also options of removing red eye, remove blemish, clone brush, color brush, white balance, filter effets and many more.
I especially appreciate the undo button, since there are so many options, mistakes are unavoidable.
The program also shows you the file properties, such as what camera was this picture from, when it was taken, what folder, what pixels, etc. And an easy panel on the left to access your files.
Cons: During installment, if you click on the option of scan all files in your document upon first use, then hope that you have fewer files. It is a nuisance waiting a long time to let FxPhoto scan through all your files, especially if you have lots of files.

Pros: It's free. Deluxe edition is very inexpensive. I not only fixed a 70 plus year almost invisible photo but gave it a style to reckon with. If you format the drive they give you directions as to how to make it functional. For such a small file it's got enormous capabilities. I regret having wasted tonnes of money on ACDSEE,JASC[both have terrible supports and their support is very cheeky. ]Formatting your disk means losing lots of cash. Additionally these expensive softwares are very voluminous and have no capabilities. I'm so pleased with foto fx, that I regret no one told me earlier. There are no CONS, but only PROS. Maybe one or two minor holes might be there but I think FOTO FX would require months for the consumer to find those minor holes. 5 STARS!

"You have to pay for most features it seems"
Cons: Tried to do a collage, only available in the paid version, so aother dya tried to use the feather tool, can only save it .. in the paid version!
Not worth downloading as it appears to be too restrictive to be of any use.
