"Too Good to be True?"

Pros
Allows VoIP and chat through Fring's own services and several others, including Skype, Yahoo Messenger, Facebook, etc.

"Nice, but Sluggish in Performance on E71"

Great features.Love the multi-network support. Best of all you can even do VOIP on Skype, MSN...etc. Really neat.
Cons
Slow connection. Hangs and make my Nokia E71 unstable. I guess it is due to the additional software being installed to support VOIP. Hope the fring guys get rid of these bugs ASAP. Really love the software concept.
Summary
This software has really good prospects. Needs to improve on its stability and speed. Otherwise, I do not have any complaints on its features.

Pros
I love my fring. You can make free calls to other members or via your SIP account, chat with you IM buddies, even send files, and enjoy the ever increasing list of add-ons like Facebook, all for free. Works brilliantly on my Nokia N95. Call quality is excellent.
Cons
Nothing. This is quality software and has won awards already. A proper company and dedicated team means it will only get better.
