This diagnostic tool gives you tons of information about every element of your system, such as your CPU, memory (virtual, physical, and swap-file), display drivers, virtual devices, and interrupt-request list. The system information for each category shows up quickly, and most of the benchmarks run smoothly, even when you have other applications running.
We found ourselves wishing for the ability to change attributes and settings, but that is probably beyond the scope of such a program. The standard Explorer-style folder interface makes it easy to access all the information. The arrow keys will only move you up and down the folder list, replacing the information displayed in the main window. The program outputs the system report as an HTML file that mimics the look of the program.
During testing, running a system report took longer than we expected, especially considering how quickly the information shows up in the main program. Otherwise, performance is excellent. Though the program is free, you must register your copy after 11 days and, for some bizarre reason, webmail users like those on Gmail and Yahoo Mail won't be able to receive the registration codes. Gearheads will appreciate the wealth of system information Fresh Diagnose provides, but the webmail issue is a glaring problem.

"Beware of this huge, fancy utility program!"
Pros: A huge amount of information. Great if you are a super nerd who knows how to stop a hard disk drive that is going to spin at close to the speed of light, and could burn up any minute!
Cons: Apparently my good quality Maxtor 200 GB hard drive (2005) was spinning so bloody fast, It was going to burn and blow up! it got to 91 degrees Celsius! Chekced with SpeedFan. I opened program up three times, HDD nearly blew up; HDD could not stop!
Summary: Are you sure you want to find another time tunnel epxerience; one of the best television shows ever made, in which the computer if worked too hard would start malfunctioning with sparks and firecrackers. Be careful an beware! Use at your own risk.
