Input file formats are: *.avi, *.mpg, *.mpeg, *.mpe, *.wmv, *.asf, *.mov, *.qt, *.3gp, *.3g2, *.flv, *swf. This free program contains no spyware or adware. It's clearly free and absolutely safe to install and run. Version 2.4 adds a new algorithm of cursor positioning in the trim video mode.

"Quality output, but resizes video"
Pros: Very easy to use. Video output is high quality and looks and sounds great.
Cons: Sounds great, minus a little bit of static in final version. Also, resizes video to the preset resolutions. That would be fine IF it didn't also change the aspect ratio to match. (16:9 gets stretched to 4:3, distorting the video) No letterboxing.

"Didn't work and left an un-removeable program"
Cons: After conversion, Quicktime could not open file. When I tried to remove the program I was able to remove the converter but was left with an unremoveable promotional program from DVDVideoSoft. Had to restore to an earlier restore point to get rid of it.

Cons: It didn't work for me. It downloaded but didn't convet files as stated in description

Pros: it can convert flv to mp4
Cons: it's limited to converting to mp4's and it left an undeletable program that is useless to me. it's not in the add/remove or program files and you can't just uninstall it.
