Version: Free Video to MP3 Converter 2.9.1.1
"Exactly what I was looking for"
Pros: As far as I know, this is one of the only free programs on CNET that will rip audio from a video file. The interface is simple and easy to use, and there is virtually nothing to figure out.
Cons: The only thing bad is it nags you to buy some of their other software. For example, when your converting a video, it puts as window on your screen that shows the progress of the conversion, and a paragraph telling you to buy more of their software. However, if you are looking for a program to do what this does, don't let that turn you off. This is great!

Pros: It works fine with .avi and .mov (I didnt tried with other formats). It converts them to mp3 and very fast I can say.
Cons: Graphical User Interface is very poor, but as long as the program is working what's the matter? Also it doesnot give many options and tools to the user

"Works for some of the formats it says"
Pros: It does some of what it says
Cons: It doesn't really convert .mov to .mp3. I tried and it told me to download another software that costs $39.99.
