From CommFront Communications :This free software allows users to control, monitor, debug, log, spy, capture, view, analyze, and test serial ports (rs232, rs485, etc) activity. It allows users to see all data communication between any other two devices using serial ports (an optional 2-in-1 cable is required, which can be purchased from our site), with this software and the cable, no more expensive hardware type analyzer is required.
Besides monitoring capability , controlling (debugger) a serial device (rs-232) becomes a simple task with this free software, if you know the commands, you can control any serial devices, such as projectors or AV switchers, right from your PC.
Further to above 2 major software features, some useful tools, such as logic calculator (AND, OR, xOR) and Code converter (Hex, Dec, Oct, Bin), as well as the full AscII chart are included in the software. This is a powerful software for AV, Automation, and Software Engineering industries.
