Publisher's description
From iExpert Software :During the normal operation of a Windows system, registry data is constantly being written to and removed from the registry. Over time this data becomes scattered within the registry file and when information is deleted from the registry holes are left which fragment the data within the registry. Our Free Registry Defrag optimizes your registry by removing gaps and wasted space, thus improves the whole system performance. Version 2.1 contains the updated engine for defrag which is more stable and speedy.

Version: Free Registry Defrag 2.1
"It is fair if you are a humble computer user"
Pros: The first time you use it, it really does work. It is more fine tuned then the built in defragmenter found in most IBM compatible systems.
You also do not have to follow any hard and obtuse seeming directions at all.
Cons: I do not know this for sure yet, but I really think this thing only works the one time.
I just use my computer for the web and for the online degree option at my university. I do no programming or anything like that.
So, all I know is that I used this once, it defragmented 21% of my computer. The next time I tried to use it, it said I hadn't anything but 2% to defragment.
I figure this works, but I do not know how long you have to wait to use it again because of how I am a humble computer user.

Version: Free Registry Defrag 2.1
Pros: I actually used Abexo Free Reg. Cleaner first, then this program. Boot time was dramatically reduced, though I see no difference in web-surfing. (Didn't really expect to)
*tip* to speed up your PC even more, turn of System Restore, and the Page file, temporarily. (YOU MUST HAVE 256Mb RAM OR WINDOWS WON'T OPERATE) Defragment your computer w/appropriate software, then turn Sys. Restore and the page file back on. Reason: those two areas are normally excluded from Windows defrag operation.
Voila! Instant speed-boost.
For what it's worth I'm running an AMD64 3500+ w/1G of RAM, Windows XP Media Ctr. Edition.
Cons: None. It claims to defrag and that's exactly what it does, nothing more. It saved me 8%, which didn't sound like much until I rebooted.

Version: Free Registry Defrag 2.1
Pros: My start ups are faster now. This program was able to compress my registry from 27% to 3%.
Cons: Has to restart every time!
