The freebie installs quickly without pushing third party software into the system. Working with the app is piece of cake due to the lack of a rich rack of options or configuration settings.
It moves pretty fast when converting the PDF documents. Drag and drop support makes adding files and folders a cinch. Resolution of the resulting photos is adjustable, and you can define a page range in the document you want to be converted.Cons

Summary
PDF to JPG Converter is not exactly a complicated tool to work with and does not come with a complicated set of settings or groundbreaking features. It keeps everything simple and does what it has been built for without complicating things, keeping resource usage is within acceptable limits.
However, given the fact that the audience becomes more and more demanding, even with regards to freebies, enlarging the set of options and features would be a great idea. -

Ridiculous restrictions on image output size. There is no option to extract the images in their original resolution. The "default" setting considerably downsizes images, whilst the higher resolution options have no facility to maintain aspect ratio, so images get warped.

Great if you want to convert a PDF to low-res jpg/png images. However, if you want to extract images in original resolution this will not do it. Even for freeware, this seems like a silly limitation.
