Though this download manager is free, using it will cost you. Free Download Accelerator does help speed up multiple-program downloads, but the program design and lack of features make it a middling choice among many other freeware options. The program interface is plastered with banner ads and can't be resized. What's more, every time you start a download, a small dialog window pops up--which we found annoying while testing multiple downloads. Unlike other programs, Free Download Accelerator doesn't work with your browser but requires you to transfer file links to a Clipboard. Automation options are few; the only feature we found is that the program shuts itself down after completing its scheduled downloads. Overall, this is only a basic program among many other useful freeware options in the market.

I liked the idea of it but was unable to use it.

It didn't show me specifically what I should download. The screen info was confusing to me. Too many choices!

It is downloading the files very fast.
Cons
During downloading working on other programs is difficult as it becomes very slow. Also the download window always needs to be open during downloading process except for premium users.
Summary
I liked it because it is very fast but I think you need to look into the fact why the system becomes slow during downloading. Also I found a virus in your software, could be spyware.

Did not work as no email sent to downloader as form was filled out twice.

Downloaded it twice but never received the emil to activate accellerator 2.0. Still have it unactivated on computer but no code sent to: gillisneil@yahoo.ca to use.
