From Eusing Software :This CD ripper allows you to extract audio files from a CD and convert them to MP3s. It connects to the CDDB database to automatically retrieve title information, and it can save output filenames based on the track. It supports ID3 tag editing and additional LAME options. You can record to the MP3 format with your microphone or convert WAV files to MP3s. The program also supports the normalization of audio files.

Version: Free CD to MP3 Converter 1.6
"Finally a damn cd ripper that does what its supposed to do!"
Pros: This program performed exceptionally well, enabling me to rip tracks from my solo cd into my pc for remixing and processing....For once cnet has a decent program on it which is what it says it is (more or less)
Cons: Win98 users will receive an error message...just drag the error message window out of your way and continue! I am not sure why that error message keeps showing up, but it is a minor annoyance, and makes no difference WHATSOEVER in the performance of this ripper, and NO I DON'T WORK for THEM!

Cons: No possibility to download without filling in a form such as you do when you buy something... Please correct me if I?m wrong!

Version: Free CD to MP3 Converter 1.6
"Simple and Sweet little app."
Pros: A simple program put together in an honest attempt to give people a MP3 making ability. It's straight-forward interface (though lacking glamour) was refreshing. No spyware or "handy bonus apps" came with it.
I haven't tested it's Record Line In feature, just the MP3 from CD part.
Cons: Nothing huge. The english used in the product was slightly incorrect in grammer. Not a big con though.
It also asks for registration at the start. It's not a problem becuase nothing seems to be left out because you don't register.
