While its scan features are slower than we'd like, this well-rounded system optimizer boasts a number of tools to enhance your computer's performance. Free Asmw PC-Optimizer's straightforward interface has seven major buttons for clear, in-depth system cleanings. It instantly speeds up your Internet connection, tweaks XP and 9X OS system settings, and optimizes RAM usage. You'll be able to scan for junk files anywhere on your computer, though it took a considerable amount of time to do so. The program's privacy features can cover your online and offline traces and will clean residuals from third-party applications. We appreciate the included encryption and decryption tool that secures files using three levels of wiping methods, and you can customize the number of times to overwrite files. Free Asmw PC-Optimizer's Registry tool effectively removes faulty Registry keys and undoing changes is easy if something weird happens. Whether you want to focus on a few optimizations or need deeper system enhancements, any user will appreciate this 15-day trial's all-encompassing features.

  "****** up my computer completely."

  Cons: After installing the product, and a few trials, I used XP clean-up. This resulted in a complete loss of all data on my computer, including windows, program files and personal data (a complete disaster)...

  "do NOT download"

  Pros: nothing

  Cons: This software optimizes your system in the worst way. It deletes your entire registry so that nothing runs period. All my files and everything are still here, but not a single program will run. Also the clean junk files button deletes a whole bunch of really important windows and office files! great... this will take untold amounts of time to fix.

  "asmw does not allow use of FREE version"

  Pros: It did not crash my PC

  Cons: asmw say it's free but it won't work without Registration and all attempts to Register failed.

  "Highly Recomended. Easy DL and Install. Works Great!!"

  Pros: Does just about everything and

  does it well. I was using several

  different Cleaners and Optimizers

  to accomplish what this one application

  accomplishes, so even though it's a

  little larger in size it ends up saveing

  drive space and Desktop clutter. It's

  a Keeper!

  Cons: Wish I had found it sonner
