From Alex Sirota :FoxyTunes is an Extension for Mozilla Firefox that supports the Mozilla Suite and Mozilla Thunderbird. It allows you to control your favorite media player without leaving the browser. The controls are positioned on the status bar or one of the toolbars, so no extra space is wasted. FoxyTunes has several nice features. You can control the playback, adjust the volume, and see what's playing. Many more features are in development, among them advanced music-related searches.
Version 1.2.5 features Yahoo Music Engine support and compatibility with Mozilla Firefox 1.5.

"Useful, but mostly unnessary."
Pros: Allows you to use basic controls for your media player without min. your browser.
Cons: Not really a needed extension if you use a media player like windows media with the tool-bar function. In fact most media players (Musicmatch, windows, winamp, basically most well known players) have toolbar or other features that give you contraol over them without being in the way.

Pros: It's suppose to let you control music players without minimizing browser?
Cons: I have no use for it. I think it's easier just going through my windows shortcut. For the thing it does, I don't think it deserves to take all that space. I uninstalled it.

"Good if u don't know your shortcuts..."
Pros: Well, if you already are in Firefox and playing music, you don't need to minimize...
Cons: There's no point in having it. Don't you know about Alt+Tab?? FireTunes doesn't mean anything to you after.
Then, you get Foobar2000 so you can customize your shortcuts. You can put a shortcut on anything!
