Snoopers can't find or access the files you hide using Folder Lock, even in DOS or under other operating systems. This application also erases your Recent Documents history, so intruders don't know what to search for. The attractive lock-like interface simply presents the program functions. You can click the Browse link to locate and lock folders anywhere on your computer, or you can simply secure them via a right click.
You also have the option to shred files for permanent removal, monitor hackers who try to break in to your secured files (and shut down the computer after three wrong passwords), and enable stealth mode so would-be wrongdoers can't even see the folders you have locked. In our tests, the program demonstrated good speed, even when securing large folders. If you share a PC and need to keep certain files to yourself, you should definitely give Folder Lock a try.

Pros: this program does what is says it great and quick and i would recomend it
Cons: my spyware doctors aniivirus wont let me run the file oon my hard drive so i have to disale it all the time and scan when my computer gets slow

"Locks Folders but doesn't do what its says it can"
Pros: Locks folders on your Hard Drive and doesn't allow other to open them without the right password. Very good protection as long as you want to keep the files on your hard drive. Small size also for a good program.
Cons: Its hard to use. I mean you understand how it works but its hard to figure out how to use it. It says that it can protect files even when they are burnt onto a CD/DVD and thats not true. I did just as it said in the help guide and it wouldn't work. I burnt the program folder and my files in the "Locker" folder to a DVD and when i go to see if its protected its just not. I can see the files and access them. Maybe its just me but i cant get it to do what its advertised as doing. If it crashes you will lose all of your protected files so just make sure you take your time while using it so that it doesn't have a reason to crash.

Pros: I now use this along with several similar security/privacy programs and can't dream of doing without out it. Well worth the price.

"Very Robust software and free lifetime updates"
Pros: Marvellous. This might be the best investment in software I have ever made in my life, this software is exactly what I wanted. Not to mention how good its made. Really thanks for the hard work and the support.
