From NewSoftwares.net :Folder Lock is fast file-security software that can password-protect, lock, hide, and encrypt any number of files, folders, drives, pictures, and documents in seconds. Locked files are undeletable, unrenamable, unmovable, hidden, and inaccessible. You can lock, scramble, or encrypt depending on speed and security. Folder Lock is fully portable, so you can protect your files on USB flash drives, disks, CD-RWs, notebooks, and hard disks, and it doesn't require installation on another PC.
Folder Lock protects files in Windows, DOS, and Safe modes, even when you change your OS or boot from a disk. Folder Lock doesn't let you delete its own program folder, and it can't be uninstalled without the correct password. The program blocks coworkers, kids, peepers, hackers, viruses, spyware, networks, and all online and offline threats. Additional features are, stealth mode, hacker monitoring, the ability to erase PC tracks and shred files, autolocking, auto shutdown, and a context menu.

Pros: Convenient and easy to use.
Cons: This program does not encrypt your data. All you confidential files can be read by anyone who can use any disk editor program.

"Great program - lousy tech support (if you need it)"
Pros: Simple, easy to use. Portable. Can be used to protect files on a USB flash drive. Files can be opened at another computer without having to install the program on that machine. Protected folder is hidden and cannot be assessed without knowing password. Very effective for protecting private files on USB memory drives. The entire drive does not have to be encrypted or specilly formatted.
Cons: Tech support is useless, even for registered users. The flashy GUI repeatedly locked up on my system. All they could suggest (repeatedly) is to re-install to a different folder. I'm not sure they even read the emails, because the reply was always the same. I finally solved the issue without their help by reverting to an older set of ATI video drivers. It looks like most folks will not need tech support. Just don't count on it if you do.

"A user-friendly with high protection software"
Pros: I have tried so many different software to protect my personal data in my computer..."Folder Lock" is the #1 software for high security. It's a user-friendly software with pretty skins. This is a "must own" software if you share computer with others or if you have internet connection. All of your sensitive information will be locked inside the locker folder and no one (but you) can reach this information/data. Highly recommanded.

"Worked perfect, fantastic program!"
Pros: I am using Folder Lock since version 3. And If you compare version 5 with version 3, you will see that version 5 is simply mind blowing. Superb well-written program. Recommended!
