From NewSoftwares.net :Folder Lock can password-protect, lock, hide, or encrypt your personal files, folders, drives, pictures, and documents in seconds. Locked files are undeletable, unrenamable, unmovable, hidden, and inaccessible. You can optionally lock, scramble, or encrypt depending on speed and security. Folder Lock is fully portable, so you can protect your files on USB flash drives, floppies, CD-RWs, notebooks, and your hard disks, and the program doesn't require installation on another PC.
Folder Lock protects files in Windows, DOS, and Safe modes, even when you change OSs or boot from a disk. Folder Lock doesn't let you delete its own program folder, and it can't be uninstalled without the correct password. The program blocks coworkers, kids, peepers, hackers, viruses, spyware, cables, networks, and all online and offline threats. Additional features include stealth mode, hacker monitoring, the ability to erase PC tracks and shred files, autolocking, autoshutdown, and a context menu in Explorer. Version 5.1.2 has a bug fix.

Version: Folder Lock 5.1.2
Pros: It keeps all my important documents & files safely away (and invisible) to other users on my computer. Its just what I was looking for to keep my work safe. For the few pounds it cost it is brilliant & so easy to use.
Up to now no probs.

"Does what it says - and does it well!"
Pros: I've been looking for a simple to use security product. This was suggested on a forum and I tried it. It does exactly what I want neatly and simply. Easy to install, easy to use and some really useful options. I was happy to pay for the full version.

"Would be a great product if it worked."
Pros: Exactly what I'm looking for, easy to use.
Cons: All of my files disappeared. I have emailed support, which says they will respond within 24 hours, but I have yet to receive a response.

Pros: The folder lock's interface is very easy to use.
Cons: I bought folder lock 2 days ago and already 2 times the entire data i saved in its locker just disappeared. I am really upset as I just cant retrieve the data and I think there is a serious bug in this version. CRAZY!!!! Just reported the problem to support.
