There's a lot to like in this beta release of Flock 1.0, if you're into social networking. Built on Firefox, it's designed to make interfacing with social networking sites extremely easy.
The browser loads pages well, but the Quick Search dialog box doesn't like it when you switch search engines, it just opens them in a new browser. Most, but not all, regular Firefox extensions work, too.
Flock's social network savvy sidebar is the reason to get this browser. Nine buttons at the top of the collapsible sidebar make accessing any of your social networking or frequently used Web sites easier than Twittering what you had for breakfast. Each button either helps you get your message out faster, like dragging-and-dropping photos into Flickr, or helps you read your friends' messages quicker, like the integrated RSS feed reader.
The People button turns the sidebar into a nifty way to track all your social networking accounts. Your avatar is displayed on the left, while the right contains links for new messages and new comments. The bottom holds the links to upload new media when applicable and a hot link to open or close your media stream.
There are also hot links to most major blogging sites, and if you choose to configure it for your own self-published blog, Flock guides you through the process. Even though it's resource-heavy, Flock is the way to go if Twittering, Facebooking, or YouTubing is how you spend most of your online time.

Version: Flock 0.7.14
"Flock blows most browsers away!"
Pros: Flock is one of the newer browser out on the net and is based primarily off Firefox. This means you get all of Firefox's best features and a whole heap of new features that you could never get with Firefox unless you download numerous extensions. It has a built in blog editor for numerous blog types (wordpress, moveable type and many more), a built in image uploading/viewing utility for Flickr and Photobucket accounts and a great RSS reader and Favourites organizer. Best of all, it has a great interface that gives you just what you need while maximizing the browsing area.
Cons: There are almost zero cons for Flock. It still has some problems connecting with the latest release of Wordpress, but thats only for some users, and it should all get rectified with the next release which should be happening very soon!

"Like Firefox for the terrified"
Pros: Based on the same Mozilla base as Firefox makes for an extensible and relatively secure browser. The integration with photo sharing sites such as Flickr looks good, and the ability to post to your blog from within the browser is quite useful, even if it isn't as fully featured as a Firefox plug-in such as ScribeFire.
Cons: Being a Firefox fan, I like my extensions, and while Flock will accept a lot that are written for Firefox, not every extension that I like will work with Flock. Still, I'm glad to have it on my system as an emergency alternative browser should Firefox ever go belly-up.
