There's a lot to like in this beta release of Flock 1.0, if you're into social networking. Built on Firefox, it's designed to make interfacing with social networking sites extremely easy.
The browser loads pages well, but the Quick Search dialog box doesn't like it when you switch search engines, it just opens them in a new browser. Most, but not all, regular Firefox extensions work, too.
Flock's social network savvy sidebar is the reason to get this browser. Nine buttons at the top of the collapsible sidebar make accessing any of your social networking or frequently used Web sites easier than Twittering what you had for breakfast. Each button either helps you get your message out faster, like dragging-and-dropping photos into Flickr, or helps you read your friends' messages quicker, like the integrated RSS feed reader.
The People button turns the sidebar into a nifty way to track all your social networking accounts. Your avatar is displayed on the left, while the right contains links for new messages and new comments. The bottom holds the links to upload new media when applicable and a hot link to open or close your media stream.
There are also hot links to most major blogging sites, and if you choose to configure it for your own self-published blog, Flock guides you through the process. Even though it's resource-heavy, Flock is the way to go if Twittering, Facebooking, or YouTubing is how you spend most of your online time.

Version: Flock 0.7.4.1
Pros: Online bookmarking integration and blogging support.
And a great RSS reader.
Cons: Still buggy, wish it will be solid as final version releases.

Version: Flock 0.7.4.1
Pros: I like this browser a lot. It uses the same code as Firefox, so everything is already in place and you don't have to remember where all the buttons are. The fact that there is a built-in blogger is awesome. If you find something you need to blog, hit the shortcut key and blog away. The uploading of pictures is awesome, I love that too. Much easier than loading the site and uploading there. The intergrated RSS feed is great, I love using it. Perhaps the best I've used so far.
Cons: The fact that it uses the same code as Firefox means that it's a hog in resources, and everything like slow load times is in with Flock. The Bookmarks feature is also a bit dodgy: I can favourite with no problems, but you must click Favourites --> Manage Bookmarks --> to find your bookmarks, unless you put them in Collection folder. It's also still in beta, so expect some bugs.

Version: Flock 0.7.4.1
"Awesome new browser?! I never knew how much more fun using the web was."
Pros: Love the photo scroll bar across top of browser. I can see my friends photos quickly, and am always notified when they upload new stuff.
Love how easy it is for me to upload, copy, and share my pics from the photo top bar.
*Love* the "News" feature. I NEVER used RSS before b/c I didn't get "Reader" programs. This is built right into the browser, and I am way more in touch with cool sites that never remember to

Version: Flock 0.7.4.1
Pros: Nice interface and with features that arent normally in a browser(E.g Photo toolbar). It look awfully like Firefox but i guess thats a pro.
Cons: It wastes a tad too much of resources like firefox does, hope this gets fixed in later versions

Version: Flock 0.7.4.1
Pros: For me, the history search is the killer feature: I love to be able to find pages I've already visited by searching on a term that appeared on the page (not only the title).
