Built on Firefox, Flock is designed to make interfacing with social networking sites extremely easy. The browser loads pages well, but the Quick Search dialog box doesn't like it when you switch search engines, it just opens them in a new browser. Most, but not all, regular Firefox extensions work, too.
Flock's social network savvy sidebar is the reason to get this browser. Nine buttons at the top of the collapsible sidebar make accessing any of your social networking or frequently used Web sites easier than Twittering what you had for breakfast. Each button either helps you get your message out faster, like dragging-and-dropping photos into Flickr, or helps you read your friends' messages quicker, like the integrated RSS feed reader.
The People button turns the sidebar into a nifty way to track all your social networking accounts. Your avatar is displayed on the left, while the right contains links for new messages and new comments. The bottom holds the links to upload new media when applicable and a hot link to open or close your media stream.
There are also hot links to most major blogging sites, and if you choose to configure it for your own self-published blog, Flock guides you through the process. Even though it's resource-heavy, Flock is the way to go if Twittering, Facebooking, or YouTubing is how you spend most of your online time.

Version: Flock Browser 1.2.3
"Great performance from the social web browser"
Pros: Flock took what made FireFox great and added more. A lot more. There's many amazing features to Flock, though with the release of FireFox 3.0 it's noticeably lacking a bit on the browser interface, rather then then that of Flock as a information sharing tool. Even so, Flock 2.0 on it's release will be enticing for download, I'll be interested to see how Flock has improved, especially considering how useful it is even on version 1.0!
Cons: Flock's only real flaw is the speed of it, as it's clearly not up to par with the speed of Firefox 3.0, though they're supposedly built on the same framework and all, Flock clearly hasn't put in as much effort as FireFox has into memory saving, which is where FireFox shines (though not as bright as Opera, one of it's competitors).

Version: Flock Browser 1.2.3
Pros: They are all here! or at least all, how they blend its the whole society. Packaged as one.
Cons: Its the share of this common value that makes this software outfit the age, when the net brings all cultures and countries together. The software is formidable no major hiccups so far!

Version: Flock Browser 1.2.3
"Flock continues to suck big time ....."
Pros: Absolutely nothing, except when I removed it from my PC, then I really liked my PC better.
Cons: It is SLOOOOOOOOOOW to launch, it is SLOOOOOOOOOOW to surf and load pages and it is BLOOOOOOOOOOATWARE and the worst port of Firefox ever. You wonder how could anyone screw up Firefox in a port of it? Flock did.
