It renames many files at once, so called batch or bulk renaming. With Flash Renamer you can automate thousands of file renames in a single click. Rename filters include set casing, MP3 renaming, find/replace, set attributes, add & crop strings, sequential numbering and an advanced format function.

Version 6.01 includes several changes such as MP3 id3 tagging. Scripting support, re-number feature, greatly enhanced interface, and other improvements.

Version: Flash Renamer 6.01

"Clear layout and easily understandable to use"

Pros: Clear, professional looking, well set up and user friendly, did what it said it could do and more

Cons: I couldn't work out how to delete orginal file names and add new numbering instead. There might be a way to do it, but I'm not patient enough to read the instructions!

Summary: Appears to be a very useful utility, one that I will be using from time to time
