Publisher's description of Flash Player (Netscape/Opera/Firefox) 9.0.16
From Adobe Systems:Flash Player 9 is a lightweight, highly expressive client runtime that delivers powerful and consistent user experiences across major operating systems, browsers, mobile phones, and devices. Flash Player 9 builds on the advances in Flash Player 8 by focusing on three main areas: creating a more robust programming model, achieving standards compliance, and improving performance.
This release of Flash Player includes ActionScript 3.0, a significant update to the scripting language of the runtime that provides a familiar syntax and compelling new language features; and new Flash Player APIs, such as those for the display list, enabling greater creative control over content and applications.

Adobe's latest version of the Flash Player browser plug-in is just as trouble-free as previous versions, existing unobtrusively in your system until Web-based animations, games, or ubiquitous Flash ads require its services.
The latest version downloads and installs quickly, and will probably always require a browser restart. Our tests turned up nothing to make us scratch our heads, and upgrading from version 9 to the current one has fixed for many people a bug that caused embedded video to freeze.
You need a Flash Player to experience the Web at its fullest, so users at any level of expertise should have no qualms about installing or upgrading to Flash 10.

Version: Flash Player (Netscape/Opera/Firefox) 9.0.16
Pros: Viewing is less "choppy" than before and it installed faster and easier than previous versions! I'm not sure if it was because Adobe improved it that much....or if everything just seems better in OPERA!!!
Cons: Nothing yet but I haven't tried it in the other browsers. I'll probably wait for IE & FF to be released in final version so that the comparison is fair (I remember how much of a pain plug-ins were for them)

Version: Flash Player (Netscape/Opera/Firefox) 9.0.16
Pros: Another Quality Product from Adobe
Cons: We all know its built with love and care by the folks at Adobe.
But to be sure if you are running two browsers say IE and Firefox delay installing on at least one browser for a short period untill you are completely happy that it performs to your satisfaction.

Version: Flash Player (Netscape/Opera/Firefox) 9.0.16
Pros: None
Cons: If you download this you may find that many flash stuff you view wont work as adobe has made this unstable. it has many flaws in it.
it will affect most flash based sites like mine which have dynamic text. This will affect web developers everywhere. some can even sue due to whats happening. Lucky i use swishmax and they quickly provided a beta fix to fix this problem. You have been warned.
