"Needed for viewing movies through browser"
Pros: Needed for watching most videos through your browser, and works perfectly fine most of the time.
Cons: I'm not a big fan of Internet Explorer, so I have to download a different version for Mozilla Firefox.

Pros: Easy to install and uninstall, now also in the control panel. I downloaded and installed version 8.0.24.0 from the macromedia website (owned by adobe). Ideal for animations on the web. Most Windows versions have already the Flash Player installed, but these are old versions of the Flash player. So download the newest!

"Great if you always like seeing ads most of the time"
Pros: Can't be without if you're a regular internet user. Works great with Yahoo Messenger.
Cons: If you're one of those that frequently visits friendly web networking( friendster, myspace, hipstir), it will create problems with those pages like messing up your account settings and view options. I've been using Friendster since it became available of early 2004. It works fine until you install Macromedia Flash Player on your pc. Flash player is ok with other websites but not for those that I'ved mentioned. Try and see for yourself.

"Can't enjoy the web without this."
Pros: Its free.
Its required to view some of the best content the web has to offer.
Cons: Really can't think of any. This program is pretty much a necessity with Internet Explorer.
