Flash Format is a full-featured Compact Flash Card management utility. It runs as a Control Panel applet and allows you to get detailed statistics about storage cards, perform integrity checks, recover lost cluster, and format cards to original conditions. The Pocket PC edition of Flash Format also allows you to set AutoRun so that selected programs, MP3s, or other content can be automatically activated upon card insertion.

Version 2.61 provides full compatibility with all Pocket PC devices (including the latest Pocket PC 2003).
