Unlocking your phone will seem very high tech with this application, but in reality it's just a trick. Fingerprint Scanner Lock will have access to most of your personal information while giving nothing in return.
Before you install Fingerprint Scanner Lock, the program requires full access to your data. It requests access to your phone records, texts, personal information, messages, phone book, current location, and the ability to change the contents of your SD card. Once downloaded it also requires that you agree to a long list of terms and conditions regarding your privacy. The user interface is well designed and easy to use. There are several settings to customize the look and feel of this app. When it comes to functionality, Fingerprint Scanner Lock disables your current screen lock settings and installs the fake one. When you attempt to open the home screen you are confronted with a fingerprint scan. It will then simulate a scan when you press your finger in the marked area. Once it fails you for a set number of times, it automatically passes you. In effect this application lowers your actual security on multiple levels.
Not only does Fingerprint Scanner Lock disable your real screen lock, it also requires unnecessary access to your personal information. We wouldn't recommend using this app as there are many other apps out there that are much safer to use.
