Version: FineCrypt 9.0
Pros: FineCrypt is the most trusted data security program on the market. How you can tell this? FineCrypt has the special feature which let you to check that the program does really encrypt your data in accordance with encryption algorithms. See the program's help for more details (the chapter "How to check the correctness of FineCrypt encryption"). I haven't seen this feature in any other encryption program and I don't know how securely they encrypt my files.
Very friendly and intuitive GUI. A vast number of very useful features such as sessions keys, encryption wizard, file manager and many more. Read the CNet's review for more details.

Version: FineCrypt 9.0
"DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!! This Trial Version is USELESS!!!"
Pros: Easy to Un-install.
Cons: This free version only lets you encrypt 5 files??? Who only needs to encrypt 5 freakin' files??? This is useless!

Version: FineCrypt 9.0
"Don't get suckered into this program.. it's a ripoff!"
Pros: none
Cons: The "Free" version only lets you encrypt 5 files at a time. The website listed on cnet is a ringer that leads you to believe there's no charge ever. Only once you have it installed do they tell you that little tidbit and give you a link to the real website that lists the prices. It's $50 to get a workable version, which if they hadn't been so deceptive I might have considered. I did the uninstall, and it appeared to run successfully, but the program is still stuck in my explorer right-click menu and it left a bunch of dll files that are read-only or something that I can't delete. Save yourself the trouble I found with this and pass it by. There should be a law against programs like this.

Version: FineCrypt 9.0
Pros: Good Interface. Easy to Use.
Cons: While its possible to encrypt as many files as you want... you may only do so in batches of 5 at a time, until you purchase the full version. Hence what your downloading is a limited version and that makes this particular listing DECEPTIVE and UNTRUE since it clearly says NO LIMITATIONS and FREE LICENSE. Shame on the publishers and shame on CNET for allowing this DECEPTIVE listing.
