Pros
this is a great program for just cleaning but it can clean more than what you want to do. so look up the new version its a whole lot better and fast too.
Cons
you better back up everything before using, just in case...

Pros
You can find many empty files - junk files - empty folders and clean them up in a moment. This is especially nice to have after a fresh install or major disk clean-up. BUT beware!!! this will find folders that are needed (especially Microsoft Office) and delete them and you will need to use the re-install from disk. You WILL have the chance to choose which files/folders to delete - so look it over before you click the button!!
Cons
Will remove any file or folder you choose - even if you need it - must know which files/folders you need OR have the installation disks to replace if you goof up.

Cons
After I ran Fin Empty Folders, (which comes together with Find Junk Files) Windows (mine is XP service pack 3) stopped functioning correctly. First I noticed my modem had been uninstalled, then I couldn't restart windows, couldn't even turn it off. I decided to restore from the recycle bin everything this software had deleted, but it still didn't work. I had to reset my pc. When Windows started loading, Chkdsk started runing, and it had to recover 2 lost crucial files. Then, after a second reboot, everything came back to normal... phew... I felt like a virus had attacked my pc. Don't trust this software.

As said. After scanning appox. 2300 faults, it took the program 4 hours to finalize correction of only 1200 and than remained in this status, so I had to cancel the repair, leven the rest unchanged. Another try later on, after having started the computer again, it stopped at 900 faults remaining. This is not what I had hoped for when I purchased it. And the computer is not a bit faster in its performances.
So I am disappointed.

ruined me for all of 'em.i say a START button then a separate the GOOD from the BAD BUTTON-good sector in blue on the left & bad sector in red to the right-
then the UGLY button that erases the uneeded stuff.i'm sure i am not alone on ths.people dont want to look dumb.i hope its simplified.does ANYONE agree?

Pros
The software found and removed files that I could not find. Cleaned up 5+GB of temp file on my hard drive. I could not do a disk defragment because I could not move those temp files until I used this software. Thank You!!!
Cons
The only thing that I did not like was the program did not give me many details about what I was removing. It was however not anything that I really needed so thank you again.

i tried this thinking it was going to be just another run-of-the-mill cleaner,wrong,if people give it a chance this could easily become the number 1 cleaner.it's thorough and does a safe cleanup.i spend alot of time trying various programs and believe me i don't find many that i could give 5 stars to.
