CNET Editors' review
FileZilla Portable is a handy and free file transfer protocol (FTP) client, something that's been available in many forms since the earliest days of the Internet. What's different about FileZilla Portable is the "portable" part; unlike other FTP clients, the whole program is totally portable. You can install it on a USB flash drive, insert the drive in any computer, and use FileZilla without installing anything else and without leaving any personal information behind.
FileZilla Portable (formerly Portable FileZilla) is, as the name suggests, a portable version of the well-known FileZilla FTP client. It's one of many free portable versions of popular open-source applications developed and published by PortableApps, which also offers portable versions of Mozilla's Firefox Web browser and the OpenOffice.org office productivity suite. Portable applications are big fun in small packages, and we're big fans here at the testing lab; we're fans of open-source code and freeware, too. But FileZilla Portable, like other PortableApps freeware, is particularly nice, with a well-designed graphical user interface that's a welcome departure from the starkness of most portable software. It installs easily on your USB drive, iPod, external hard drive, or any portable storage device, or you can run it from a CD. It works as well as the full-size FileZilla, but it goes everywhere and leaves no trace.
FileZilla Portable is free, and it works well in both Windows Vista and 7. Try it; you'll like it. Give some of PortableApp's other cool tools a try, too.

"Pffffftt!!!!"
Version: FileZilla Portable 3.4
Pros
It's easy to install.
Cons
Another empty hole with no direction signs.
Summary
You'd think by now that somebody would have figured out how to communicate simple things to normal minds, but this software proves that's still an illusion.
What's so hard about having labels like "move/copy from" and "move/copy to?"
Oh, nooooooooooooooooooo! That would never do! Let 'em figure it out--it's free, f*** 'em!
I have not been impressed with any of the products from this company. They are drastically over-rated and over-hyped.
This is a pure dog. -

"Great! Just what I needed..."
Version: FileZilla Portable 3.3.0.1
Pros
I can use it at work! (we are not allowed to install any software, and are expected to do all our work just using the Microsoft 'Office' family of software. The logic? It was very expensive so it MUST be good!)
Cons
Ummm, thinks hard.... ummmm.... sorry, you got me there
