From Electric Age Software :File Tracker finds malware that regular antivirus and anti-spyware programs don't find, and it may be used to rename the malware. It finds newly created, modified, or renamed files, and determines the current location of moved files and the previous location of moved or deleted files, so it helps with file and folder management. For example, it tracks files and folders that software programs add to computer disks. It creates a report file and groups program files, e.g., .EXE and .BAT files, in it, making finding information about the files easier (such files might be virus or spyware files). It creates a file list for hard (fixed) disks, floppy disks, and CD's. PC File Tracker helps troubleshoot computer systems and programs because it may find unexpected or modified files that are causing problems, or information about required files that were deleted.
